Out at Night!

Since we were without our kids during our school break last week, we took the opportunity to do something we don't usually get to do: go out in the evening! It was quite exciting for us to get to see the city transformed by lights (& the smog disappear into the darkness).

We spent one wonderful evening across the river, enjoying a dinner with a fantastic view of the Bund and another night headed back to a nearby water village, Qibao, to take in the lights. In every place we had to work hard to avoid getting trampled by the thousands of Chinese tourists also enjoying the national holiday :)
