On our journey to Spokane, we had the opportunity to check off a few more national parks.
In California, we spent two night camping at Redwood National Park -- what a beautiful place! The contrasts between the old growth forests and the rugged coastline all in one place was awesome!

Smith River at Jedediah Smith State Park in the Redwoods - such an amazing color!

At North Cascades National Park we didn't get to stay there, but got to do a beautiful hike at Ross Lake. Gorgeous!
Of course, our road trips always include seeing a few friends in-between!
Jamie is the first person from our Peace Corps Tonga group to be pregnant! Go Jamie!
And, a very sweet/fun co-worker from my unum/cigna days in Los Angeles, who now lives in beautiful Anacortes, WA!
