Tiny Dancers, Part 3

The final dance for the day was a traditional war dance performed by the 5th - 7th grade boys. Again, I was so impressed that these kids would dress up in these outfits and perform with seriousness and pleasure.

In speaking with the Peace Corps volunteer who works at the school, she mentioned that most of these kids don't receive any positive reinforcement at home, so this day was a really big day for them ... many of their mothers and a few fathers were in attendance and cheering for their children. It was beautiful to see and be part of.
