The French Concession

This is one of my favorites areas on Shanghai so far ... called 'swinging Shanghai' in the 1930's, it has beautiful narrow, tree-lined streets, with lots of Mediteranean style villas (hiding behind high walls) and a ton of chic restaurants and cool shops. This was already our second trip into the area.

How water gets delivered here ... pretty impressive!
