Visiting the Devil's Tower

September hosted a free entrance day for National Parks & Monuments so we decided to make to 100 mile drive over to Devil's Tower in Wyoming.  It was fun to see this 867 foot monument, hike around the base and watch climbers working their way up to the summit via the large vertical cracks. It was also mostly likely our last day of the season above 80 degrees, so we really tried to soak up the delightful warmth.
